Toymaker: Eldon

Eldon was a prominent American toy maker and distributor headquartered in Hawthorne, California. At the peak of its success, Eldon had additional locations in Canada, England, Japan, and the Netherlands. The company found success repackaging Japanese toys and distributed them worldwide. Eldon's slogan was "Just for the fun of it." They were aquired by Cox Industries in 1979.

Description: This car features battery-powered rear wheels and steerable front wheels. The front wheels turn to the left by default, but a thrust of air from the handheld air pump pushes the wheels to the right before slowly returning left again. Pushing the pump repeatedly keeps the wheels turning right.
