Model: 1969 Shelby Mustang Police Car (No. V-4002)

Power: Battery

Length: 7 inches

Description: This all-plastic Mustang has an electric motor at the rear wheels that's powered by a "C" cell battery in the wired remote control unit. The buttons on the remote can make the car travel forward or reverse. It was manufactured in Hong Kong (date unknown).

Model: 1969 Shelby Mustang Fire Department Car (No. V-4002)

Power: Battery

Length: 7 inches

Description: This remote controlled Mustang is identical to the one at left except for color and different stickers. Both cars came in identical boxes labeled "Rescue Division."

Model: 1966 Mustang Coupe (No. 559)

Power: Friction

Length: 7 inches

Description: This all-plastic red Mustang has a friction motor that power the front wheels, chrome wheel covers and front and rear plastic windows. It was manufactured in Hong Kong (date unknown).

Model: Sears 1965 Mustang Fastback (No. 54171)

Power: Battery

Length: 16 inches

Description: This all-plastic Mustang Fastback features a full function "Turbo Powered Controller" and "Digital Proportional Steering," as well as "Rear suspension with shock absorbers." Branded and sold by Sears, Roebuck & Co., but the actual manufacturer and manufacturing date is unknown, though we know it was made in Taiwan sometime in the late 1980s. A black version with white stripes was also sold. If you know more about this toy, I'd love to hear from you! Update: car likely made by JRL.
